Privacy

Content you enter

Wheel entries and other tool inputs stay in your browser. Some tools use local storage so your setup is available when you return. DecideJoy does not operate accounts or a cloud database for this content. Exporting a file saves the content through your browser at your request.

Analytics

DecideJoy uses Google Analytics 4 to understand visits and privacy-safe product actions. Analytics may process information such as pages viewed, approximate location derived from an IP address, device and browser information, and interaction events. DecideJoy does not put wheel entries, participant names, selected results, exclusion lists, or other free text into analytics events. Google Signals and ad-personalization signals are disabled in the current analytics configuration.

Advertising and cookies

When advertising is enabled, DecideJoy uses Google AdSense to display clearly identified ads. Google and its advertising partners may use cookies, web beacons, IP addresses, or similar identifiers to deliver, measure, limit, and protect advertising. Depending on your region and choices, ads may be personalized or non-personalized.

Your controls

You can edit or remove entries within each tool. Clearing DecideJoy’s site data in your browser removes locally saved data and cookies stored for this site. Browser privacy controls and advertising settings may also limit cookies or personalized advertising. Where required, a regional privacy message provides additional consent or opt-out choices.

Service providers and retention

DecideJoy is hosted by Netlify and uses Google for analytics and, when enabled, advertising. These providers process technical data under their own terms and retention practices. DecideJoy retains only the aggregate and event-level information available through configured provider accounts and does not sell the names or choices entered into its tools.

International processing

DecideJoy is intended primarily for an English-speaking United States audience, but it can be visited from other countries. Netlify and Google may process technical information in the United States and other locations where they operate, subject to their applicable safeguards.

Children and classroom use

DecideJoy is a general-audience service designed for adult operators, including teachers and parents. It is not directed to children, does not offer child accounts, and should not be used to enter sensitive information about a child. Teachers and other adult operators are responsible for using names and classroom information appropriately.

Policy changes

This policy may be updated when DecideJoy adds or changes a service provider or data practice. The date at the top identifies the latest version.
